Knowledge gained
During this period I have
gained a lot of knowledge about technology, this subject has been very
important for us, as teachers to be we have to manage many technological tools
to have a different class, entertained and motivated. For me, it has been very
helpful since there were some tools I did not know they existed; I realized
that they are very important in the classroom. Nevertheless, it has been a
little difficult for me to get familiar with some of them. But the most important
is that now I know how to work with them.
What
attitude must be needed to work with online tools?
To work with online tools
we need a good attitude. First, we have to be patient, sometimes the things do
not go as we expect. Another important attitude is to be motivated to do the
things in a good way; we also have to be curious because in that way we get
more knowledge about something, if we have doubts, it is good to go deeply in
every tool, to know more about it.
How these tools can be
implemented in other subjects? Give specific examples.
We can implement these
tools not only for an English class, but also for others. For example we can
use Story Builder, which is one of my favorite, to create different stories and
dialogs with the students, using their imagination and creativity.
Another important tool that I consider
could be useful for the students is helloslide, I consider that the students
can have fun by using this tool in different subjects like for example: make different
presentations in any subject they take. I like this tool; I consider it can
improve the motivation of the students. The class may be meaningful for them.
What are some things that should be added or left out in a future course?
Well, I consider that there is always
something new to learn, in this particular case that has been taken this
subject, for me has been very useful, that is why I consider that there is
nothing to stop teaching, and if there is something to add, it could be new things
that deals with technology, as we know there are always updated programs,
websites, groups, etc. important social networks that can be used in the
classroom in a positive way.
I think the classes were meaningful, since
the teacher manages the subject very well. The only problem I could see is that
when the group is big, there are troubles when using the internet and it is
difficult to work or to pay a special attention to every student´s problem as
well.
All the tools were very important!!
